With springtime finally creeping its way into Michigan, I’ve found myself wandering back to what I recently learned was a vernal pool on our property to listen to the frogs and birds calling.
Occasionally however, their soft, spiritual croaking and tranquil song are overpowered by the riotous presence of a non-native species. Buster Brown has spring fever.
