A day of dogs and Discovery

Today was one of those days just cold enough to turn your cheeks numb and just beautiful enough to make you feel like a lifeless hermit for staying indoors.  So off I went on three separate trips–one for each dog at home today–to the Gerald Eddy Discovery Center down the street from our house.  It was a lovely, photo-worthy afternoon, even with an iPhone camera in the one hand not holding the leash.

And here are a handful of my favorites:

Buster Brown poses in front of a huge downed tree

Copper colored leaf

Buster “Brown” = the color of winter leaves with bits of snow

Peach poses for a contemplative shot at the entrance to the Discovery Center

Icy marsh

Hudson saw the sign that read “Take only pictures. Leave only footprints.” and does his best to oblige.
