On May 3, Buster Brown and I will be tackling the second piece of a 3-part therapy dog certification test. And hopefully if all goes well, The Peach will follow suit shortly after with her own testing (fingers crossed).
There are a number of reasons why I’ve found therapy dog prep classes a worthwhile use of my time–not the least of which is that certified therapy dogs are, by definition, happy, well-behaved dogs too. But more than anything, I would really love to help contribute to volunteer reading programs like these.
